Viral Marketing Giveaway 6 opens the doors…

Hi,

Detlev here…

There's a new giveaway launching today at 10 PM Eastern Time. I've wanted to make sure that you're getting in early either as a contributor or just in order to download all the nice goodies from there.

It's called Viral Marketing Giveaway 6 and here is the link:

http://www.quickanswers.info/VMG6

Speaking of Giveaways… Wouldn't it be nice if you had a reliable script to manage your OWN Giveaway and profit from the promotional efforts of dozens of contributors?

Until now, there were not too many reliable scripts out there which would allow you to manage a Giveaway easily. But today, a new product has been launched by Brad Smith, the person behind the highly successful Easter JV Gifts Giveaway.

Brad had a script custom programmed for his own Giveaways and he's now offering it to the public. Considering the fact that the organizer of such an event can make tons of money from using such a script he's selling it way too cheap but see for yourself:

Subscriber question: Can a young mother use the techniques described in Secret Article Profits?

Here's something I've received via email that I thought you would be interested in… maybe you've similar questions or you doubt the effectivity of article marketing as taught in Dylan Loh's new product called "Secret Article Profits". The email was sent by… - let's call her "Liz"…

QUESTION:

Hello, Detlev …

Interesting tidbit about Rich Jerk …

As to Dylan Loh's book …

There have been so many books along these lines … so many that say "I made a million a million" more or less …

and then when you buy them, you find there's a "story behind the story" or that the author has something you don't have, such as years of experience in sales and marketing, or the book is one of those "informative but incomplete" things that are of no use to anybody …

I will agree that he has done a good job of copywriting …

But when you get finished reading the book, will you be able to go out and make money writing articles yourself?

I have attached a $7 report I bought recently that I feel is right up there with 5BucksADayJr as far as "do-ability" is concerned. I would be very interested in your spin on it. It's one of the few I feel comfortable in recommending to young mothers at home who are trying to raise their children and contribute to the family income at the same time. They don't have $47 to throw around; and, for that matter, neither do I.

What I find especially intriguing about the book I have attached is the author of it is 16 years old.

If a determined teenager can do it, then I guess young mothers can do it, too.

Please let me know what you think.

Also, in light of this book I have attached, I would really appreciate it if you would give me something more to go on in regard to Dylan's book.

Specifically, could a young mother take his book and start making money with it like she could with Mark McDonald's book?

Warmest regards …

Liz

MY ANSWER:

Hello Liz,

Yes, Craigslist is a good place to start as a newbie internet marketer as you don't get stuck in the traffic hole… Because that's the reason why most people who try to make money online aren't succeeding. They are not driving enough traffic to their pages.

The author, Dylan Loh doesn't have a "story behind the story" as you've called it. I mean, he's something like 20 years old or so, barely out of school and English is not even his first language…

Being successful in this Internet marketing business means to be determined and to have the drive to do everything needed in order to succeed. Many people fail because they want to start a big business without knowing the basics, first.

Before you don't know how to register a domain, set up a website or upload some pages to your server, create a redirect and that kind of things, it would not be a good thing to "jump right into it"… You could become overwhelmed by all these technical things and probably get nothing done.

==> This leads to procrastination…

Moreover, submitting one article to one directory probably won't get the job done, either. You need to be churning out lots of articles to make this work. You need to get into a flow and you need consistency. Making a lot of money is all about being able to scale things up which are bringing you the desired results. So you'd need to write something like 3-5 articles a day in order to get it going.

The best way for those who can afford it, is to outsource everything. You let freelancers write and submit the articles and the only things you keep doing yourself is the keyword research (so the authors know about what to write) and the creation of the resource boxes (aka signature files for the articles) so you can get traffic to your site or to an affiliate site.

But I don't understand your question in the first place as on your site, you seem to be quite knowledgeable about article writing. So why do you doubt the effectivity? It's all dependent on getting active, of course.

Yes, mothers can learn this as well AFTER they have learned the basics of building an online business… you can't put the cart before the horse.

In particular, they need to know how to create a website where they can sell their own product.

Or, the better alternative, where they have a squeeze page to collect leads and follow up with an autoresponder. This one step, the autoresponder, will multiply the profits made from article marketing as multiple items can be promoted, not just the one you initially advertised in your resource box.

But again, all these steps require some basic knowledge about online marketing (==> e.g. autoresponders). Just like with Craigslist, money can be made pretty quickly but if you're not collecting leads, you're not building a business. You're building temporary streams of income which could stop any time (e.g. as soon as you're tired of posting your ads or as soon as you go on vacation).

If newbies (mothers or not) are willing to learn the basics, they can succeed with both. Even though, I think, article marketing has much more potential than something like Craigslist as you're also building a reputation and a following from these articles which will make it easier for you to sell things to these people. Because your readers will probably like and trust you in contrast to having just read an ad about some product…

Okay, that's it for now. I hope, my answer has been helpful to you.

Warm regards,

Detlev Reimer

Marketing Main Event 3 - What will be included?

There have been muttering, musings and speculation over recent weeks about what will be inside Simon Hodgkinson and Jeremy Gislason's MarketingMainEvent3 package

Well the cat's out of the proverbial bag and now we know - What you're about to see is set to send shockwaves throughout the Internet Marketing Community

Go And Watch The Video On This Page:

http://www.quickanswers.info/MME3

This is a sneak preview of the new software these guys have confirmed will be included as part of their MME3 membership (now confirmed for 08.00 EST on June 5th and set to run for just 7 days)

We are bringing this to you first and all we can say is this is going to be HUGE!

We've seen some powerful software releases over the years but this is, and to quote Simon Hodgkinson,

"The Stuff That Dreams Are Made Of - CMSInfusion Technology has the power to make Millionaires out of average Joe marketers… What will happen when it gets into the hands of some seriously smart marketers is anyone's guess. All I can say is watch out Amazon, eBay, iTunes and Youtube…"

From the video released, it looks like CMSInfusion is going to be the number one software of choice among the 'in crowd'.

In a spellbinding 50 minutes we've seen that it can build membership sites, manage affiliates, create article and content rich sites, deliver audio and video and take user to user communication into real Web2.0 territory. (The video is going to make your eyes pop out!)

All we say is that after you've watched this June the 5th is going to seem a long way away.

http://www.quickanswers.info/MME3

This is really going to be big and I'm really looking forward to receiving my own package on that day. It will become much easier to create high quality websites. Even membership sites can be created with it and it will have an automatic affiliate program integrated. This is huge. You could easily pay up to $10,000 for something like that…

Detlev Reimer

The death of Adsense arbitrage?

According to Jennifer Slegg of Jenstar.com a number of publishers have received emails telling them that they have "an unsuitable business model" and that their account will be closed within two weeks. The money they have earned can be kept, but that's it.

It seems that only websites which are "Made for Adsense" or websites doing arbitrage will suffer from this. Many of those publishers made more than $10,000 a month. Actually, this could be a good thing. At least, in the long run as a lot of Google advertisers were disabling the content network because of the poor performance of the traffic coming from there. Or they've reduced the CPC in the content network so many former high paying keywords became unprofitable.

Important: If you are doing arbitrage as well (like I did in the past, too…), you should immediately stop all your PPC campaigns which are sending traffic to your pages with Adsense! Maybe, you can slip through…

Is Kelly Felix Known As The Rich Jerk A Poor Jerk Now?

Kelly Felix who is also known as “the Rick Jerk” is reported to be selling his online business which includes the domain name and rights to his "Rich Jerk" trademark. The selling price he's asking is $8,000,000. According to Jeremy Shoemaker, owner of the highly successful "Shoemoney Blog" (Jeremy has a picture on his site with an Adsense check of over $100,000), reports that the Rich Jerk is selling his online empire in order to avoid bankruptcy.

How can this be?

I couldn't believe this news because with all the publicity he got and traffic on his sites going through the roof, you'd suppose he must have made enough money. The news first hit my email inbox with an email by Holly Mann and then I visited the before mentioned source, Shoemoney's blog.

Included in the sale are his 2 offices. One of them is located in Carlsbad, CA, the other one in Thousand Oaks, CA. and the “Rich Jerk” name along with his three websites at:

http://www.TheRichJerk.com
http://www.RichJerk.com
http://www.RichJerkRealEstate.com

You can read about this extraordinary sale on BizQuest.com:

http://california.bizquest.com/836910.html

Yes, I was really surprised by the news since the “Rich Jerk” has been doing late night infomercials (e.g. Howard Stern and some TV spots) and seemed to be doing well. It seems that you never know who you can really trust… If the supposed Rich Jerk is not even rich then I guess, he's just a "Jerk"!
