3 Free Traffic Secret Videos From John Reese…

Maybe, you've seen the videos already which I am about to show you but if not, then please pay close attention to them because they can add more profits to your bottom line:

==> http://www.quickanswers.info/TrafficSecrets2

Yes, the videos are from THE John Reese who was the first well known Internet marketer to hit the 1 Mio. Dollars in 1 day mark. The product he sold was "Traffic Secrets".

That was way back in 2004…

Without traffic, all of your webdesign, salesletter creation or graphics become completely worthless. Traffic equals customers and it is the lifeblood of any online business.

Many of the techniques John was teaching in V. 1 have become outdated…

Well, little did most people know that John has been quietly testing hundreds of ALL-NEW traffic methods and strategies to take that original course to another level. He wanted to take advantage of all the new and powerful opportunities of Social Media, Video Marketing, Content Syndication, and much, much more.

"Traffic Secrets 2.0" includes all the latest strategies - especially with regards to Web 2.0:

==> http://www.quickanswers.info/TrafficSecrets2

Video 1 gives you 10 tips on how to get solid data for your niche market and competition research. And you can get another 2 videos by joining his announcement list.

Make no mistake: The techniques he teaches are solid and tested. John never releases a product that hasn't been extensively tested and Traffic Secrets will be no different.

Many of the techniques in Traffic Secrets 2.0 are exactly what I am doing every day to get traffic to my own sites and to my clients' sites and therefore, I know for sure that they work.

And in the videos, he's actually revealing how the package looks like, what's included and he'll mention the price which is much different from the original Traffic Secrets 1 (revealed in video no. 3).

Should you decide that you want to get this product, then please watch out for my email on Tuesday. I'll be making a very special bonus available if you get your copy through my link…!

==> http://www.quickanswers.info/TrafficSecrets2

I haven't been promoting many of the big launches in the past - I have become VERY selective in what to promote…

But with his course, I can be 100% sure that you're getting top quality which will help you to increase your profits by being able to attract more traffic to your websites.

I still have the original Traffic Secrets course from John in my bookshelf and that's why I know that he'll even top the quality of Version 1.

Moreover, in one of the videos, he mentioned that ALL FUTURE UPDATES to Traffic Secrets will be completely free!

What more can I say? Watch the videos before he's taking them down after the pre-launch ends (on Tuesday):

Have a great Day!

To Your Success,

Detlev Reimer

P.S.: I wouldn't be doing you a favour by completely ignoring this launch…

The new SEO - Part 2: Theming your website using Silo Structures

In part 1 of this series, I mentioned how important it is to use LSI when writing articles and content for your website.

This basically means that you'll have to use words which are related to the overall theme of your website. So if you're writing about how to improve your tennis game, it would be better to mention words and names like e.g. "raquet (racket)", "slice", "return", "break", "Roger Federer" and "tennis court", too. Moreover, you should be using synonyms rather than repeating your main keywords again and again. You can't simply just stuff your main keywords into your articles and expect to get great search engine rankings.

But it's not all about the keywords themselves. Often, you'll find websites which have a linking structure that is bound to "bleed" a sub-theme into several other sub-themes. This can destroy the effectivity of your overall SEO efforts.

Most Websites Have A Poor Linking Structure

What do I mean by that…?

Well, it means that the majority of sites is using a linking structure in which each page of the website can be accessed from ANY of the subpages on your website. This might be a good thing for your website visitors but with regards to SEO, it can mean the difference between getting found and ranked well and not getting anywhere near the Top 1000 of the search engine results pages for your chosen keywords.

Linking from every page to all the other pages dilutes your organizational theme of your website, thus making it very difficult for your main keywords to rank organically in the major search engines. In this regard, you'll often find that you have great rankings for some general keywords (which are probably not even related to your topic) and that you have bad rankings for your specific keyword terms.

This usually happens when you're utilizing a poor page to page linking strategy…

Theme Density On Single Pages Is Not Enough

Theme density is how many related words appear in connection with the subject of a web page that is determined to be relevant by the search engines. Google's latest LSI algorithm is able to catch spammy content and thus it will lower it in the ranks. The days of Keyword Density Analysis are over. Now it's all about theme density.

Having LSI keywords appear on a single web page is not sufficient, though. Theme density needs to be incorporated into your entire website. This means that your whole site structure needs to reflect your overall theme and not just your individual pages. The best way to ensure that this is being put into practice is by structuring your website into what is called "silo structures".

The Solution: Create Your Websites Using "Silos"

When you're using LSI on your website in combination with a silo structure, you will automatically enhance both the theme of individual pages within the silo and the silo itself. Each silo is a sub-theme of your main niche topic and should be completely separated from your other sub-themes.

It's very important that the silos will never link to an individual sub-page of one of your other silos. But the last article page (or product page) within a silo can link to the index page of the next silo.

The graphic below will make this clearer (see below for a silo structured website on Electronics):

Silo structured website

The index page links to several sub-themes, the silos, but it doesn't link to pages within the actual silos. The index page of a silo has one or more links to sub-silos (which are silo index pages again). From the last index page, you have only links related to product pages/article pages which are related to the current sub-theme. And each article is linking to the next one.

The last product page in each silo links to the next silo index page until there are no more silos left. The only other link you could put onto these internal pages would be a link to the homepage itself to make navigation for your visitors a little easier. The second main silo (digital cameras - in blue) would be built in the same way and would not have links to the other main silos.

Using these techniques when structuring your website and by using LSI on your content pages, you are set to beat up to 90% of competitors in your chosen niche (presupposed you're getting at least some backlinks to your site)!

SPECIAL OFFER FOR MY SUBSCRIBERS:

I'm about to offer a service which will be putting these SEO principles into practice for you so you don't have to….

Before offering something like that, I need to know how many people would be interested in this. Let me tell you that SEO companies who are actually applying these principles charge A LOT of money ($697+) for creating these kind of websites!

My offer would be that I create a website for you with up to 25 pages in total at an unbeatable price of just $197/site incl. 1 year of free hosting (my subscribers only - others will soon have to pay at least $397 for it). You can supply me with your content which you want to have used for the site or you can choose 1 of hundreds of private label article packs (with at least 25 articles to fill the site) that you'll be able to choose from starting tomorrow.

If you're interested in this, then please go to my helpdesk and let me know that you're interested and which topic you'd like to have a site on. ( Use "I am interested in your silo-structured websites" as your subject line for the ticket.)

I will only offer this service if there's enough interest in it - so the more helpdesk tickets there are, the more likely it is that you can get a site. The number of spots will be very limited as this is eating up a lot of my time. There won't be more than 12 sites built!

Please also tell me in your helpdesk ticket if you want me to do the basic promotion as well so I can plan how much outsourcing will be needed! The basic package price will probably be in the $147 region but I have not decided on that, yet…

The sites will be built using XSite Pro 2 which is simply the perfect tool for creating websites based on LSI and Silo principles! Silo structured websites don't need a lot of promotion to get great search engine rankings but the more you are doing, the better the rankings, of course. (I'll also offer a basic package for the promotion of these websites which includes directory submissions and social bookmarking)

Sites will be built on a first come, first serve basis…

Multiply your Online Affiliate Earnings with Datafeeds

If you're an affiliate marketer then you understand the fact that the more products you have to promote, the better commission cheques you're going to receive at the end of every month.

If you're used to promoting one or two programs at a time, it's time for you to explore a new option which will allows you to increase your profits more than you ever thought possible.

The world of internet commerce has created more opportunities for affiliate marketers than any other program ever has - the opportunity to have an entire online storefront, full of products you can make commissions off of, all based in whatever niche you choose!

Plus, there are so many tools to automate the whole process of setting up e-commerce stores. Below, you'll find me recommending one of them which I have personally tested. This one is so easy to use that even beginners can set up online stores in an instant.

Building Your Own eCommerce Online Store

Having your own online store is actually much simpler than most people think. A way to build an affiliate ecommerce store is by using datafeeds. Datafeeds make it possible to display products from one or more merchants in the same web site.

Datafeeds are similar to RSS feeds used by blogs - an ecommerce store set up by a traditional offline business will place descriptions, pictures, and prices of their products into these feeds, and then affiliate marketers can incorporate these feeds into their own store and make a commission off of each individual product sold.

You can either build your own online store (which eats up a lot of your time, believe me - I've been doing it manually for quite a while now…), or you can utilize the services of an ecommerce solutions company like Datafeedr who will walk you through all the steps and support you as you get your online presence built.

Using a tool like Datafeedr takes out all the hassles of having to manipulate the original raw Datafeed yourself. To be honest, I hate doing that because it's so easy to mess things up. And that's true even if you're having quite some experience already since most of us are still using MS Excel to clean the datafeed from superfluous rows and entries.

Which affiliate networks are supported?

Currently, they have: CJ.com, Shareasale.com and Linkshare.com (the "big 3") plus Clickbank, Netshops and Bridalux.

I recommend using the services of an ecommerce solutions company when building your online store, simply because they already have put in the ground work to provide the datafeeds in a usable way.

Datafeeds are the lifeblood of an online store, as they can be used to automatically add new products for you to promote on your site. Adding products manually to your online store is certainly possible, but it is a very time consuming process.

Datafeeds take all the guesswork out of adding new products to your site, making it easier for you to make better profits with a wider selection to offer your visitors. With Datafeedr, you can automate the whole process and even have the products drip feed into your online store.

How is this online tool being used?

You can use Datafeedr on simple Wordpress blogs by installing their proprietary plugin which gives you access to their system. Everything can be set up very quickly and there are millions of different products that you can choose from for your online store. They are ready to help you get your web site up and running in no time!

The only requirements are that you need to be accepted into the individual network as a publisher and you also need to be accepted by the merchant who is providing the details for his products in order to show their products on your site. But there are several merchants with datafeeds available which have "auto accept" for affiliate signups activated (I know this from personal experience on Shareasale) so it's not difficult to find merchants you can promote.

Not all the merchants from the networks have been made available, yet, (there are over a thousand) but they're working on it. For now, they've been focusing on the ones with the best EPC (earnings per click).

Watch the video at their site (it's what made me understand everything in a way that I wanted to sign up straight away because I know how many hours it will save me setting up niche affiliate stores) and see how easy it is to set up your own affiliate data feed stores.

Ah, and by the way, you're not limited to a specific number of stores you can set up. Set up as many as you want…! :)

The new SEO - Part 1: Latent Semantic Indexing

As you are probably aware, the search engines, especially Google, keep changing their algorithms in order to find the perfect match between visitor expectation and relevance of the pages within their index.

Like many acronyms, LSI and LSA have no meaning until you know what words those initials stand for. They sound like the names of popular television crime dramas, such as the fictitious "LSI: Miami" or "LSA:London."

That's not such a bad analogy, because LSA and LSI are mysteries to most Internet marketers. Not only that, but failure to use these important concepts would be a crime! Let's try to get to the bottom of these unsolved mysteries.

LSI means Latent Semantic Indexing. LSA means Latent Semantic Analysis. That didn't help much, did it?

Of course not. LSI and LSA are concepts that are better understood through examples. Before looking at examples, however, let's look for clues in the words that make up these acronyms.

Latent Semantic Indexing

Definition of Latent:

Latent means "dormant, quiescent, not readily visible, or hidden." It refers to qualities, abilities, or talents that may be currently hidden or unknown, but which might be revealed in the future.

Examples

1. His latent musical talent didn't emerge until he had been to several piano lessons.

2. Her latent mathematical skills surprised her parents when she began bringing home very high test scores.

3. The car's latent defects did not appear until the warrantee expired. All these examples refer to qualities or properties (both good and bad) that were always present, but took a while to become noticed.

Definition of Semantic:

Semantic refers to "the meaning, or an interpretation of the meaning, of a word, sentence, or document, and its relationship to other words in the text." It does not mean the popular antivirus company (that's Symantec™). It is also the study of meaning in language, or even the study of multiple meanings that a single word might have. The semantic aspect of a sentence, paragraph, or article is what it means to the reader.

Examples:

This word is most often used in its plural form "semantics," as in "Let's not argue over semantics."

An example of arguing over semantics would be two people discussing the meaning of he word "war." The first person insists war means the absence of peace. The second person is certain that war means the presence of combat. Both are correct in a sense, but it is like the argument whether the glass is half-full or
half-empty. Both parties are right about the meaning of war, but there is some interpretation involved.

For our purposes, "semantic" refers to the meaning of a word, sentence or document, how the reader interprets them, and the relationships between the words in the text.

Definition of Indexing:

An index is an "an alphabetized list of names, places, and subjects treated in a printed work, giving the page or pages on which each item is mentioned." It is a tool for organizing printed material so that certain items in that material can be easily found again.

Examples:

The index of a book is an excellent example. If you read a book on internet marketing and wanted to review the information on affiliate programs, the book's index would tell you on which pages the word "affiliate" appeared. You would quickly find the information you need.

Putting It All Together

Latent - refers to qualities or properties that were always present, but took a while to become noticed.

Semantic - refers to the meaning of a word, sentence or document, how the reader interprets them, and the relationships between the words in the text. Indexing - creating a list or reference for a printed work so that items within the text can be quickly found.

Therefore, Latent Semantic Indexing or LSI means a list or reference for printed material containing both the obvious and the hidden meanings and interpretations of the words, sentences, and paragraphs in that material, as well as how the words in the text are related to each other.

Latent Semantic Analysis

The definitions for latent, semantic, and indexing were presented above. All we need is a definition for "analysis."

Definition:
Analysis - a detailed examination of elements or structure.

Examples

The best examples are the explanations you just read! The acronyms LSI and LSA were just examined. The words corresponding to each letter in the acronyms were determined, as well as the meanings of those words. The meanings of the individual words were then combined into a whole or index containing the
author's interpretation of the concepts of LSI and LSA.

Therefore, Latent Semantic Analysis or LSA means an examination of the words, sentences, paragraphs, and the relationships between words in the printed material for obvious and hidden meanings. LSA must occur before the results can be organized and tabulated by LSI.

Why Is LSA and LSI So Important For You?

LSA and LSI are important concepts because search engines, especially Google, are beginning to analyze online documents using these techniques. Let's restate that: Google and other search engines will be using LSA and LSI to read YOUR web pages.

Therefore you should know and understand what these concepts are. Once you do, you'll be able to write web pages using LSI techniques. That will make the search engines happy with you and your websites. Hopefully, that will translate into more visitors and more profits.

In the offline world, LSA and LSI are techniques and concepts developed decades ago for analyzing printed documents. LSA is a technique used in natural language processing in order to analyze the relationships that exist between a specific set of documents, and the terms that are contained within those documents.

This is done by determining a main concept that relates to the terms within the documents, and that relates to the documents themselves. Once the LSA is complete, the results are compiled in an index by using LSI. The concepts and procedures are the same, whether online or offline.

Language is no barrier to LSA and LSI. If two sets of documents are written in different languages, they can be analyzed via LSI and catalogued by LSI if one set can be translated to the other set's languages.

The task becomes easier of both sets of documents are written in the same language, which does not necessarily have to be English.

What does all this mean to you?

As a final consequence, it means for you that the days of keyword stuffing are over! If that's what you're currently doing to optimize your web pages, you should stop it now. Instead, make use of synonyms for the same words and try to find related words which you can use on your pages. This will make the theme "stick" and keep the search engines AND visitors happy!

Hi,

as promised in yesterday's email, I want to give you access to a free online course on the basics of IM.

This course is best viewed using Firefox. I don't know why but the CSS formatting is totally messed up in Internet Explorer.

If you don't have Firefox it's no problem, though. It's just that the header section with the menu items might look a bit weird… CSS is playing games again.

(I haven't created the site myself - I just wanted to give you access to its content since I think it's really good.)

The content is still readable in IE without any problems. So you have been warned :)

The topics are:

1.) The Mindset of an Internet Marketer

2.) The Niche

3.) The Website

4.) Content

5.) Traffic

6.) Conversion

The Vault & Archive 2008 are now OPEN + Discount Coupons!

You've probably noticed that I am not promoting a lot of the big "hyped up" launches anymore….

There is a good reason for it: Most of it is just stuff that has been published many times over, under different names and with some slightly different features.

After more than 5 years of being a full time Internet marketer, I have seen it all and as I said before, I am getting tired of it. Instead of using the knowledge to sell products in niches, most are just selling crap to confused IM newbies since they can't differentiate between a good or a bad product.

I want to offer something that will help you to build your business without having to go through dozens of ebooks or courses - I have published one (my Revenue Blueprint at http://www.revenueblueprint.com/ ) myself and that is enough.

If you've been following the steps explained in there, you're well on your way to making a full time income… (but most people are having problems in taking Massive Action and that's why they're not reaching success or why they are taking much longer than necessary!)

Since most people are still attracted to the "make money online" niche, I want to tell you that it's not easy to get into the inner circle of gurus who are rubbing shoulders and promoting each other's stuff on a weekly basis.

And personally, I don't want that anymore.

My goals have changed. While in the early days, it was one of my biggest goals to get into this "inner circle" as well, I now rather like to focus on my niche markets and on teaching Internet marketing to a German audience.

(although there's still a long way to go since I have been really lazy with regards to building a German list but most of the "basic stuff" is still "revolutionary" here)

It's a lot more satisfying to be DOING the things that other marketers are only teaching about without having any prior practical success with niche marketing.

But this email is not about me.

My goal is to make YOUR life easier by not giving you tons of print materials or 2 dozen DVDs in a package but by giving you basically an (affiliate) businesses in a box with my Niche Content Websites.

I figured that probably not everyone wants to be committed to monthly membership payments and that's why I decided to open my Unique Niche Content Websites Vault to everyone without them having to be a member.

Moreover, I've also left the video section of the vault unsecured. Meaning, once you have chosen one of my unique websites, you can see what to do with the sites AND how to promote them.

But monthly paying members still have an advantage: Basic Members are getting 2 shared websites which are unique to my site at a ridiculous price.

And Elite Members get everything done for them. They don't have to register a domain, they don't have to look for a reliable hosting company and they don't have to edit or upload the sites.

Last but not least, if you were interested in one of my shared sites which I've personally produced prior to May, I now added them to an archive from where you can get them at 50% off! Not only that but because I don't want to put dozens of my unique websites into the archive by the end of the month, I decided to give a 50% discount coupon on them, too!

====================================
YOUR ACCESS LINKS & DISCOUNT COUPONS

Meaning, at both links, you'll be saving 50% off the price!

jan08-preview-education

Both coupons will be valid until May 31. If you make a purchase after this date, you'll have to pay the price in full.

I have added preview pictures to both sections now so it's a bit easier to make a choice between the sites.

==> If you have already purchased one of the unique websites at full price, please contact me via my helpdesk (see below for URL) and you'll get A SECOND WEBSITE free of charge! Just let me know which one you want and paste your receipt for your first purchase in there.

And if you want one of the monthly options, you can still go to: http://www.nichecontentwebsites.com/ and sign up from there.

That's it for today.

I hope, this has been great news. Please also watch out for tomorrow's email because I want to give you free access to an online course on Internet marketing. More about that later…

Focus On Significance - Not Success

988230 dart

"The key to realizing a dream is to focus not on success but significance - and then even the small steps and little victories along your path will take on greater meaning."

Oprah Winfrey

Be a specialist

At school you had been taught that you needed to know as much as you could about all kinds of topics that you were probably not even interested in (e.g. for me the horrors were math and physics…). It would not have made sense to have been focused on just one of these subjects because if you had done that, you would not have made it to the next grade.

In Internet marketing it all is a little different. Here, you should NOT try to be the 'Mr. or Mrs. Knowitall' but the specialist, the go to guy/gal, in ONE area of Internet marketing. This can be e.g. an SEO expert, the software developer, a Google Adwords specialist or a copywriter or more recently, the Web 2.0 guy/gal.

Personally, I would brand myself as the software developer since that is where my expertise is. But more recently, I have also become very experienced in creating VRE (virtual real estate) websites using Wordpress so I can also say that I am a blogging specialist.

Whatever it is that you do, make sure you learn as much as you can about your area of expertise. Strive to become the best you can be. Just like a doctor or a lawyer learns everything he can about his medicine or laws, you need to do the same in your area.

And it never stops. If you have a passion for something, you will like it to learn more and more about it in order to become the best.

Give me crap and I’ll let others know…

Personally, I love to educate myself about all the new ways of making money online (this is a treat of all the top Internet marketers – they never stop educating themselves!). I am the kind of guy people want to have on their lists because I am constantly buying their stuff – presupposed it’s not just rehashed material (and if it is, I'll get myself a refund).

As long as I am getting at least one good idea from a product which can make me more money when implementing it in my own business, I won’t be asking for a refund. But give me crap and not only will I be asking for my money back but I’ll let my list know about it as well so they can avoid it and not waste their hard earned money…!

Focus on one project at a time

When I was attending the Internet Millionaire’s Bootcamp in London in October of 2006, Mike Filsaime said something on stage that I’ll never forget: “You need to focus on one project at a time”. Even though it sounds so simple, most people do completely the opposite.

Focusing on one project at a time will bring you income much quicker than trying to get multiple projects finished at the same time – something which can almost never be achieved. So the key to success is just to focus on the one project that will be bringing you the greatest revenue within the shortest amount of time.

You know, even I, as a very experienced Internet marketer, sometimes made the mistake of wanting to achieve too much at the same time. Instead of working on one project until it was finished, I was trying to handle 3-4 projects at a time. And the result was that nothing got finished in time and my income was suffering from it. Because not being able to finish a project means less income.

In Internet marketing, you better come up with new products quickly because you will soon be forgotten if you don’t. You must be the innovator, the one who is coming up with new, helpful products that your subscribers and customers want to buy from you.

(For example, that's why I relaunched my Niche Content Websites - membership site because I saw that my business wasn't different enough from the businesses of others who were selling the same kind of products. I wanted to get a better USP - a unique selling proposition which was better than most of my competitors by selling UNIQUE websites to people who are interested in making a living from niche type of VRE websites. This has become the solution for people who can't design their own websites or don't know how to implement monetization modules - now everything's done for them…!)

If you don’t know what they want, ask them! Your products must become the solutions for their problems.

Outsource everything you don't want to do yourself

And you don’t even have to create these products yourself. That’s what outsourcing is for. No one is expecting from you, if you e.g. have a great idea for a software tool, that you need to create it yourself. Just hire someone on Elance.com or ScripLance.com, tell him or her what you want to have done, and they’ll do it for you – at a very reasonable price.

For example, I had my AffiliateTurbo software programmed by a programmer which I found on ScriptLance. I paid about $400 for it and I made more than $10,000 from this tiny investment. And the same was the case with my Blog Promoter software. (in the meantime, I’ve sold both businesses for several thousands of $$… they simply were too work intensive as they required a lot of updates on an almost daily basis).

By knowing what you want to achieve and what your goals are, you'll actually get there much quicker. You simply need to be the one who plans it all - it's not necessary that you are doing everything yourself. And all the steps which are needed to get there, will fall into place almost automatically.

SEO vs. PPC

I balance the two. SEO is more of a long term strategy for me, PPC a short term… among other marketing strategies like JVs (although I have seriously cut back on them).

Sometimes PPC is actually a good way to get traffic until the Search Engine traffic does finally barrel in…

AND you don't always have to wait 3 months. With the proper niche research and some luck, you can draw traffic in days… Once your site is crawled regularly, you can put a page up and be indexed within a day.

I don't think SEO is a waste of time unless you don't plan on being in this game for a long time. I plan on being here in 5-10 years. So I'll be patient.

SEO is a tough game no matter how you look at it. You can be at the top of the SERPs one month and drop out the next… I've seen people who have held number one positions for years and suddenly disappear all together.

It's a dangerous thing having 100% of your efforts in one area and depending on one form of advertising… diversification is a good thing.

SEO and PPC aren't even the only way to market online… some people do neither and make a ton of money.

Really… There is no predicting Search Engine's… they will always mess with your head. Sandbox or no sandbox. The algos always changing… Their index is updated frequently. Google's PR is always in flux…

After the last major update there was a lot of talk if there is even a randomization factor involved now… maybe even certain industries being treated differently… Outbound links becoming a factor also.

What I experienced could have easily been something I did… It's the closest thing to a Sandbox I've had. One day I have 50 keywords ranked high the next day they disappear. 2 months later I see visitors from those keywords back in my logs and sure enough they came back…

SEO has changed a lot since the beginning of last year. It is not as predictable as it once was. A webmaster would be a fool to rely on Google for 100% of their revenue. I've seen it happen… huge revenue generating websites dropping out of the SERPs completely… what a rush that has to be!

LET ME be honest. Like I said. The sandbox could have been something I did or some random shift in the index… who knows… I can't explain it so I call it a sandbox… but I'm always tweaking my sites… and most importantly:

I'm always trying to get new one way links pointing to my sites. Either by means of article submissions, directory submissions, social bookmarking, blog comments, article/content submission to sites like Digg.com and lots of other things… Links are still an important factor in your rankings.

Some new webmasters think if they follow the book they should find themselves at the top of the SERPs… when they don't, they automatically call it a "sandbox" if they can't figure it out…

Reality is… it might be that there are 10,000 websites that were there first with more inbound links and experience. You have to earn your spot…

Bottom line. Sandbox seems to occur, but it will only occur for crowded markets… you need to work much harder than in a niche market with no competition… If there is no competition and your site is relevant, it will certainly rank well… That's why keyword selection is so important. Choose the wrong keywords and you will get ranked nowhere, choose the right keywords and you'll find your site on top of the SERPs a few weeks later…

Until recently, if a new IM eBook came out, and I placed it on my website… you simply had to do a search for the title and there I had been… but I am not focusing on ebooks and courses anymore. I want to help you to get your first websites up and running - that's where I personally find more satisfaction in.

I've been on page one or two for e.g. the phrase "Automated Cash Formula" ever since I placed a review on my site about it (5 months ago…)… It was instant because my site is being crawled daily and in the beginning, there was hardly any competition for that phrase…

PPC? Sound familiar…

SEO? (Search Engine Optimization) not to discourage…

It's not my intention to discourage anyone from practicing SEO - I probably made it sound very difficult. It's not as long as you're staying away from the hyper competitive niches. Choose a niche in which your site could really help other people and where not all the SEOs (Search Engine Optimizers) hang out and you'll rank well quickly because other people will be linking to your great content.

SEO is certainly an incredible way to get free traffic - and lots of it. Any free traffic is good traffic…

I make money with the traffic. Absolutely… it's interesting to see a commission show up for something odd… then look at your logs and see someone had landed on a page you weren't promoting with anything.

… Someone just did a search on Google.

You just have to be smart and spread your risk by using other traffic generation strategies as well… just in case your SEO efforts are NOT paying off.

2 Brand New Exclusive Adsense Niche Websites - 10 People Only!

Hi,

How are you doing? I hope, everything's okay with you. I have come to realize that you don't want to see the same stuff from me which you are seeing in other ezine publishers' newsletters… again and again.

As I said in one of my previous newsletters, I'm simply getting tired of it, too. The same ebooks and courses week after week - just in different words and designs… especially when PLR products are costing next to nothing anymore.

That's why I personally want to go a different route:

Most people whom I've asked what their difficulties were in getting started online told me, they didn't have the skills to get a complete website up and running.

business-travel-preview

They either didn't know HOW to get started or were even afraid to do anything at all in fear of doing something wrong and fail or putting up designs that are plain ugly.

That would mean to them to give up the dream of being able to make money from the comfort of your own home.

I want to help you if you belong into this category as well or if you simply don't want to invest that much time in creating your websites. Maybe, you have much better skills in promoting websites…

Then I have something for you that can help you to get started quickly. And it's not like the hundreds of websites out there which are offering the same websites to hundreds or even thousands of people.

I know that you want and deserve something special…:)

That's why, for the second time ever, I've created another exclusive package of turnkey websites for you.

Only you, Detlev, and 9 other people will have them. Not hundreds, not thousands - only 9!

These websites are completely set up with Adsense ads integrated, CB Image Ads, RSS Feeds and rotating images.

retirement-planning-previewYou can see what's included here:

(This kind of package sold out in less than 48 hours last time I offered this and this message goes out to nearly 10,000 subscribers…)

From now on, my focus will be on creating websites for you which you can put to immediate use.

That's it for now. If you're interested in these turnkey niche websites, don't hesitate too long or they will be gone forever.

SORRY - SOLD OUT!

Impressions from the CeBit 2008 in Hannover

I was at the CeBit 2008 in Hannover (the biggest computer exhibition in the world) last weekend and it was really very interesting - especially because they had an online marketing section as well. And the other reason I went there was that I wanted to bring my PC knowledge (processor speeds, max. HD capacities etc.) a little up to date. I went there with an old friend of mine …. no, not Dirk Wagner this time… :)

When I visited Hall 4 with the online marketing sections, I spoke with some of the developers of an online CMS (Content Management System) platform which has a lot of great features included like an integrated Forum, Tag Clouds, CRM (Customer Relationship Management) & Newsletter modules etc. etc. which could make great Web 2.0 Websites.

But it turns out that this system is VERY expensive. The basic version costs about EUR 4500 which is about USD 6300!

I think, then I'll rather stay with Wordpress, though. It's free and scalable + I'm familiar with it which is a big bonus because if you'd invest in something like this, there also is a steep learning curve…!

The other thing which caught my interest was an online conferencing system with a camera which could provide the participants with a 360° view of a "round table" for web meetings.

The system could handle up to 250 participants which could take part in a web based conference. The admin would then be able to share his desktop with the participants and show them e.g. Powerpoint Slides or an Excel Table or whatever.

And this one comes with a one time fee in contrast to all the web based services which are charging quite a lot of money for this.

I couldn't see a lot of things at the other marketing related stands anymore since many of them were abandoned ahead of time (I was there at about 16:45 PM and it usually ends at 17:30 PM).

But I took a lot of booklets with me which I am going to read in the next few days. Especially with regards to the German Online Marketing Scene in which I have started in January of this year (I still only have a very small list, though).

I have a tip for you regarding a good niche which I discovered there:

The car navigation systems hall had very much interest. That's nothing new. But there are new car navigation systems which can show buildings and sights in 3D! This will be in high demand and a lot of visitors to these stands were absolutely fascinated by this - myself included.

Last but not least, here's a slideshow with several of the pictures which I had taken at the CeBit 2008!

"Free" CD offer guys are using shady business practices!

Sometimes things are not what they seem…

While I had the intention of giving great value to my subscribers with the free CD offer I made on Saturday, it turns out that it wasn't as good as I thought… in fact, it's another nightmare for me because of the way this offer was set up.

Even though the content of the CD itself seems to be very good, their business practices are not. I mean, I knew there was some kind of additional charge involved because this was a CPA based offer. (CPA means Cost Per Action).

But I didn't know that they have the additional charge in their fine print and not just as a one time fee but set up as a monthly subscription at a rate of $49.95 but even worse:

The trial already ends after 24 hours. I now feel really bad to have endorsed this kind of offer!

It certainly does not comply with my understanding of ethical Internet marketing practices :< (

There was no way that I could have foreseen this, though.

Of course, I'm still expecting that my subscribers do their own due dilligence with that kind of offers in the way like several of my subscribers have done, too, and who notified me of the situation (Thanks to William, Hoss & Graham!).

Let me tell you how I found out about this offer: I stumbled upon this offer while doing research on CPA offers for my niches on Primaryads.com and it looked like a good fit for my subscribers - there are not too many courses on making money from Google's services suitable for beginners.

I really can't understand why Primaryads is supporting this kind of dubious business practices, though. But what's even worse: Why don't these guys just sell the CD at $49,95 instead of using camouflage tactics with a "free" CD?

As I said, the content itself seems to be good - I've heard this from several subscribers who already signed up to this offer.

Here's my suggestion if you signed up for this offer and you don't want more CD's/ additional charges:

Cancel your subscription by phone. In case that you already have a charge on your credit card for this "free" offer - do a chargeback on your credit card if you don't agree on this.

There also is phone number where you can call them and have the trials cancelled.

The number to call is the following:

888-362-6221 and talk to them or leave a voice mail. They will email you back that they have canceled your trial after doing this.

Again: I am really sorry to have brought some of you into this situation! I had the best intentions with this offer, though.
Note: In the meantime, Primaryads.com has taken the offer offline after I contacted them and had let them know about what these crooks were doing…!!

Free Instant Google Success CD

Hi there,

I've just stumbled across an offer which could be quite interesting for newbies or if you are not yet familiar with the possibilities Google offers you to make money online.

It's a CD with several video explanations which they are shipping to your home - but only if you live in the US/UK or Canada. This means, I couldn't test it out myself, first, like I usually do.

It looks like a good and genuine offer, though. They only require you to pay for shipping: $0.99

Here are some of the benefits:

- How to pick the right keywords

- How to promote your business

- How to get listed in Google fast

and more.

I HAVE REMOVED THIS OFFER. AS I SAID IN MY EMAIL, I COULDN'T CHECK OUT THE FULL OFFER BECAUSE I'M NOT LIVING IN ONE OF THE ACCEPTED COUNTRIES.

IT SEEMS THAT THIS OFFER IS NOT AS GOOD AS IT SOUNDED - I WILL BE SENDING MORE DETAILS TOMORROW. I'M REALLY TIRED NOW…

(I've been at the CeBit in Hannover all weekend and just returned from there. More about that -incl. some photos- tomorrow, too…!)
